Where Can MySpace Take You?

MySpace is a powerful online community which can take members virtually anywhere they want to go. MySpace was designed to allow members the opportunity to meet friends, reconnect with old friends, network and even meet potential romantic partners. MySpace may have started as a small project but has ballooned into a huge community with members from around the world. These members represent a variety of different races, regions, sexual orientations and occupations and can lead to all of the members learning so much more about the world around them.

Friends from Around the World on MySpace

MySpace is an expansive community and there are members from all over the world. This gives members the ability to meet and connect with members from different countries. Although these friendships may remain online and never turn into face to face meetings they can give an individual a greater understanding of the world around them. Through MySpace friendships with members from other countries, individuals can learn about the struggles experienced in other countries as well as the benefits of living in other countries.

Learn about Different Cultures on MySpace

Many people were raised with limited knowledge of other cultures. They may have had parents who were different races or another relative who was a different race or religion but for the most part they might have only learned in depth about a handful of other religions and cultures while they were growing up. This does not necessarily foster hate but it can lead to problems which relate to ignorance.

Members of MySpace come in contact with those of other races, religions and cultures all the time. In fact MySpace members may spend a great deal of time getting to know another member before they even know the race, religion or ethnicity of the other individual. This ability to get to know each other first and then learn more about cultural backgrounds can lead to more tolerance of others.

Making Connections Offline

We have already discussed how MySpace can help members to make friends around the world and learn more about different cultures but MySpace doesn’t have to take you miles and miles away. The fact that there are MySpace members around the world may give you the opportunity to make friends in other countries but it also means you have the opportunity to make new friends in your geographic area. Even those people who live in the smallest towns may find there are other MySpace members who live in their town. Getting to know these members creates the opportunity for MySpace members to take their online friendships offline and meet in person.

Meeting online friends in person can be a wonderful experience which can give the members the opportunity to really get to know each other better. Some members of MySpace may have joined the community just to speak to others online and may have no desire to meet others offline but for some, the opportunity to meet others offline after fostering an online relationship may be very appealing.

However, those who plan to meet online friends in person should exercise a certain amount of caution. Initial meetings should take place in a busy, public location that is well lit as opposed to a secluded location. Additionally, those who are meeting an online friend for the first time might bring along another trusted friend for security.

The MySpace Phenomenon

These days it seems like anyone is on MySpace. In just a short time MySpace has literally exploded from just a few members to millions of members around the world. This astounding phenomenon has made MySpace one of the most popular websites around and a virtual necessity for those who want to make friends through an online community or find old friends with whom they have lost contact. It has become one of the first places many Internet users turn to when they want to learn more about someone in particular or make new friends.

A few years ago the term, “Google it” became synonymous for the practice of using a search engine to find more information about a particular person or subject. Internet users were using the term “Google it” even when they were using different search engines because the name Google had been associated and branded so well it became somewhat of a generic term for search engine. MySpace is well on its way to becoming the brand synonymous with online communities. Although there are other websites which offer similar services, MySpace is quickly becoming the most dominant one.

Who is On MySpace?

Everyone. Period.

While this answer is not nearly true it is also very appropriate. It is not nearly true because in terms of factual evidence, despite the large number of MySpace members, there are still many more people in the world who do not participate in the MySpace online community. However, an answer of everyone to this question is also fitting because individuals from different cultures around the world and different age groups are all using MySpace.

Unlike online message boards and discussion forums where members are usually somewhat similar and share a particular interest, there are members who are vastly different in the MySpace community. MySpace members represent just about all nationalities, sexual orientations, financial levels, occupations, political beliefs, religions and other variables. While it is true that members who are vastly different may not be interacting to a tremendous extent on MySpace there is certainly representation from all walks of life on MySpace.

MySpace Lurkers

We have already discussed the extent of members on MySpace but the MySpace community is really much larger than the membership of the website. It is important to note that members’ websites are viewable to the public unless they are specifically designated as private websites. This means many members’ websites can be viewed by those who do not join MySpace. These individuals are known as lurkers and they effectively increase the size of the community by an immeasurable number.

Lurkers may be completely harmless individuals who are just looking to read about others but who have no interest in sharing their own personal information or they can be predators. The latter is more serious because these lurkers can use the information they find on MySpace to stalk or otherwise harass members of their own community. Many members of MySpace include both pictures and their hometown on their MySpace profile. This information can be used, by unscrupulous predators, to gather more information about the individual. For this reason care should always be used when posting information on MySpace.

Why Aren’t You on MySpace?

If you aren’t on MySpace, many of your friends may wonder why especially if they use this community. In fact many members of MySpace join simply as a way to have fun and keep in touch with their friends and relatives. However, there are number of reasons some individuals may not join MySpace. For many time constraints is a significant factor which leads them to avoid joining MySpace. MySpace can become somewhat addicting with members spending increasing amounts of time updating their website or searching for new friends in the community.

Others may not participate in MySpace because they find some websites in the community to be offensive. There are guidelines regarding the types of materials which can be posted on MySpace but there is always the potential for questionable materials to escape the attention of the MySpace administrators. There is also the possibility that members will be offended by content that is permissible.

Scoping Out the Competition on Craigslist

Competitions are everywhere. It is no surprise that business owners are having head-on competitions with other businesses that offering similar products or services. It is vital to acknowledge the need to constantly study competitions in order to be successful in any business whether it is online or offline.

Why is it Necessary to Study the Competition?

Studying the competition is one of the most critical aspects to succeeding in any business. Whether you are marketing products or services, it is important to know what types of products are available on the market. This is necessary to ensure the products and services you are offering to your customers is comparable to the products or services offered by your competitors. This is important because customers are not likely to either select your products or services or remain loyal to your business if the competitors are offering better products or better prices.

Consider a new lawn care business as an example in why studying the competition is worthwhile. Suppose this new lawn care company in a particular geographical region begins offering lawn trimmings at a price of $40 for an average sized yard with an additional fee of $25 for edging the lawn. If there are three other existing lawn care businesses in the same region offering lawn trimmings and edging services combined for one fee of $35, it is not likely the first lawn care business will thrive in this situation. A business owner who is not continually evaluating the competition may be confused by the lack of business. However, if he were to spend some time studying the competition, he would clearly see business is being lost because the other businesses are more affordable and offer a greater range of services for a comparable price.

The above example clearly illustrates how a new business can suffer by failure to evaluate the competition before officially opening for business. Existing businesses can also suffer by not evaluating the competition on a continual basis. Failure to do so may result in the business either offering inferior products or services or offering these products or services at inappropriate prices. When this happens it is not likely the company will remain financially successful.

How does Craigslist make it Easy to Study the Competition?

Those who market their products or services via the Internet can use Craigslist in a number of ways. Craigslist is a popular advertising option because most advertisement postings are offered free of charge. Additionally, Craigslist receives approximately four billion page views per month making it possible to reach a large audience with minimal effort. While Craigslist makes a great deal of advertising sense, it is important to realize competitors will also realize the value of advertising on Craigslist.

While competitors advertising on Craigslist increase the competition level for the loyalty of customers, it also gives savvy business owners an easy way to study the competition. One way to study the competition is to do a search for your own products or services by using relevant keywords. In doing this you are likely to encounter other businesses offering comparable products and services. This instantly puts you in contact with the competition.

Once you realize who the competitor is, you can carefully evaluate their advertisements to learn more about them. Key information which may be gleaned from studying competitors’ advertisements may include the quality and type of the products and services they are offering, the prices they are charging and the relevant keywords they are using to promote their products or services.

Internet marketing is driven by content and keywords. It is definitely worthwhile to hire a consultant with search engine (SEO) skills to evaluate the competitors’ advertisements and tailor your own advertisement to be optimized for these keywords as well. This will help to ensure potential customers looking for information on products or services you offer are directed to your advertisement and not just the competitions’.

Understanding the need to continually evaluate the competitions may save your business. When comes to internet marketing, Craigslist can help to simplify the process and make it easier for you to scope out the competition.

Protect Yourself on Craigslist

Craigslist is an online community that provides various opportunities for individuals who are looking for jobs, products, services, personal connections and / or housing prospects. It allows the users of this community to meet others and network or discuss important issues. However, Craigslist users must learn how to protect themselves while using Craigslist as there is always the opportunity for the scammers and predators to be lurking on Craigslist.

Craigslist has approximately four billion page views per month and approximately ten million visitors each month. The majority of these visitors likely have no harmful intentions but there is a small percentage, as on any online community, who may be seeking to harm others either physically or financially. There are, however, a number of very worthwhile reasons to use the Craigslist community for finding more information on career possibilities, meeting platonic friends or romantic partners or purchasing products or services.

Why Choose Craigslist for Online Searches

Many might wonder why Craigslist is so appealing. While there are other websites which focus exclusively on job searches, product purchases or meeting potential platonic friends or partners, Craigslist is unique in that it provides one convenient location for all of these types of searches and more. Craigslist might have started as a small operation focusing exclusively on the events going on in the San Francisco Bay Area but has since mushroomed into a much larger community with websites specific to different geographic regions.

The different websites focusing on specific geographic regions makes Craigslist an excellent resource because the users can communicate with those in their area directly instead of having to search through a larger database to find information on people, products and events in their area.

How to Protect Yourself on Craigslist

Craigslist is not anymore dangerous than other online communities. As with an Internet gathering place, the biggest problem is the ease in which individuals can disguise themselves and trick others into believing they are trustworthy when they are not. This applies both to individuals who seek to physically harm others as well as those who have intentions to scam others out of money or tangible items.

One of the best ways to protect yourself on Craigslist, or any online community, is to safeguard your personal information. This means information such as credit card numbers, bank account numbers, social security numbers and other similar numbers should not be given out unless the individual is positive who will be receiving the information and that it is being transmitted over a secure server. This is important because this information can be used for identity theft or other fraudulent purposes.

Care should also be taken to avoid giving out personal information such as full name, address and phone number. This is especially important because such information could be used by someone with malicious intent to locate an individual. While name, address and phone number are obvious pieces of information which should be safeguarded, it is important to note other pieces of information could be used to find a person. For example a person can be identified and located by supplying seemingly harmless information such as a first name, where high school was attended and year of graduation. Determined criminals can use this information to deduce the last name of the person which could lead to finding their address and using this information to harm or harass the individual.

While Craigslist provides an convenient place for people around the world to network and to do all kinds of searches in one place, it also gives criminals an easy way to harm others either physically or financially. Hence, one shall practice extra precautions while using Craigslist to not reveal sensitive information as well as personal information which would exposed yourself to danger.

How To Prevent Your Blog From Getting Chicken Pox?

How can a blog relate to chicken pox, you ask. Imagine what would happen if you are having chicken pox. People stay away from you. Your colleagues or even your Boss would ask you to stay longer at home. Your social activities drop.

If your blog is getting lower traffic each day and your subscribers are leaving every single day. You can tell that you blog is sick. She is weakening and is about to catch chicken pox. Everybody starts to abandon her.

So, what can you do to prevent this from happening to your blog? How do you at least maintain your web traffic if not increasing it? How to get your visitors or readers to come back for more?

Here are what you can do to keep your blog strong and healthy:

1. Update frequently with fresh content

Update your blog at least 2 times a week with fresh content. Make your content interesting and appealing to your readers. Understand who your readers are and find out what they would be interested in. Put yourself in their shoes, what would you like to read or find out from a blog in your niche.

2. Personal touch

Give a personal touch to your blog posts. Your writing doesn't have to be formal, some minor grammar mistakes can still be tolerable. Write as you speak. What readers want is your voice, your insight. They want to know that you are a real person behind the blog and that they are listening to a real person, not computer.

3. Be honest and truthful

Don't be afraid to admit your mistake. Human makes mistakes, everybody makes mistakes. It is okay to make mistake, but you must have the gut to confess. Your readers will forgive you if it is reasonable. If you are newbie, tell upfront, don't try to portray as an expert. People can tell from your writing. That is nothing wrong being a newbie. Be honest, it can make you and your blog more trustworthy. People will come back or even recommend your blog to others.

4. Respond to your readers

Make it a habit to reply your readers' comments. Show them you care what they have to say. Connect with your readers, befriend with them, after all blogosphere is a social network by itself. You have to communicate and interact with your readers to build relationship.

5. Invite participation

You can create activities for your blog by starting a poll or survey. Or simply post a question at the end of your blog post. Encourage your readers to contribute their point of view and their belief on the topic that you are discussing. Get them involved in your blog, make them part of your blog.

6. Be yourself

Simple, just be yourself. Tell your story and share your very own insights and belief. Do not try to imitate someone else. People can "smell" it. Further more, you can't go far by imitating others.

Forex vs. Adsense

(Roll eyes) Forex vs. Adsense? You must be wondering what does Forex have to do with Adsense.

Yes, I can tell you, Forex has everything to do with Adsense. Forex and Adsense have the very thing in common. They make you money while you sleep.

Out of curiosity and the influence from my hubby, i opened a Forex demo account 2 days ago. You know what, within 2 days or 2 nights rather, I've made USD490 without me having to do much of the work as opposed to Adsense. Imagine the amount of money I made in just 2 short nights. How much would I be making in a month if say I make averagely USD100 per day in Forex. That's USD2000 for 20 days of trading! That's equivalent to 6,200 in Malaysia Ringgit! I start to day dreaming what I could do with this amount of money (*blink*blink*)

OK, enough of day dreaming, now back to reality and the topic of today. I'm not sure about you, but for myself, honestly, after few months of blogging to make money with Adsense, do you know how much I've earned from Adsense? USD11.56 out of 4 blogs! How pathetic is that! I made ONLY USD11.56 from Adsense in 6 months time! Seeing this progress, I wonder how and when could I quit my JOB (Just Over Broke) and start living my dream life.

I couldn't stop myself from thinking: Is Internet Marketing my cup of tea? Is it for ME? Does it worth my effort all this while to make this pathetic amount? Shall I still continue with Internet Marketing? You tell me.

I once heard from Patric Chan, one of his coaching student told him that the only reason why he wanted to start an online business is so to stay at home with his mum while making money. He loves his mum very much and she is getting older each day. He knows he couldn't do that with his current job that keeps him away from her for at least 8 hours a day. This is a very moving purpose. It is a strong and powerful motivator. He is now making money online and is into it full-time.

What am I trying to tell here?

I am not sure about you, but I can tell you my friend, I nearly forgot the very basic thing in life until I listened to Patric's sharing. A purpose. The ONE reason that drives you to do things that you're doing now, Online Business.

You have to ask yourself why do you choose to accumulate your wealth online. You must have a good stimulant to keep you on track. Without a purpose, you can't go far.

Each time you face obstacles and feel giving up, just think of your purpose. It strengthen you to fight back whatever challenge that comes along your way.

An excellent quote from Patric Chan:

"You need to have a compelling reason to be successful online"

I am now scratching my head to figure out what's the very reason back in my mind that moves me into making money online. I want to be rich undeniably, I want to decide what time to wake up in the morning, I don't want to answer to anybody, I want to flight my own plane, I want to be at home with my kids while making a living, and the list goes on...

So, how about you? What's your purpose? Is your reason / purpose compelling enough to keep you going?

6 Red Hot Tips To Get Your Articles Read

Writing seems to be too much work and it will just go to waste when no one reads it. Well, articles are supposed to be read, that’s their purpose to impart your message and information. If it is not read then it is a waste of time and effort.

But all the same, articles have to be written to be read. It’s just a matter of making them good. Making a good article doesn’t have to be strenuous and straining. There are just some points needed to be reminded of, and some guides to follow. Once you get the hang of it, writing articles could be fun, as well as profitable for you and your site.

Of course, you must be writing articles about something you know, that’s why if you own a site, you probably is knowledgeable about that certain topic and theme. When you write about it, you won’t have a hard time because you already know what it is and what it’s about. It’s just a matter of making your articles creative and interesting.

To make sure that your articles get read and enjoyed, here are 6 red hot tips to get your articles read.

1. Use short paragraphs.

When the paragraph are very long, the words get jumbled in the mind of the reader by just looking at it. It can get quite confusing and too much of a hard work to read. The reader will just quickly disregard the paragraph and move on to much easier reading articles that are good to look at as well as read.

2. Make use of numbers or bullets.

As each point is stressed out, numbers and bullets can quickly make the point easy to remember and digest. As each point, tip, guide or method is started with a bullet or point, readers will know that this is where the tips start and getting stressed. Format you bullets and numbers with indentations so that your article won’t look like a single block of square paragraphs. Be consistent with your number or bullet format. Try not to use fancy bullets that doesn't look professional.

3. Use Sub-headings to sub-divide your paragraphs in the page.

Doing this will break each point into sections but still would be incorporated into one whole article. It would also be easy for the reader to move on from one point to another; the transition would be smooth and easy. You will never lose your readers attention as well as the point and direction to where the article is pointing.

4. Provide a good attention-grabbing title or header.

If your title can entice a person’s curiosity you’re already halfway in getting a person to read your article. Use statements and/or questions that utilize keywords that people are looking for. Provide titles or headers that describe your articles content but should also be short and precise.

You could use titles that start with "How to keep your husband at home" and "Tips on losing weight in 14 days". You could also use titles that can command people, for example, “Make her yours in six easy Ways”. These types of titles reach out to a person's emotions and makes them interested.

5. Keep them interested from the start to the finish.

From your opening paragraph, use real life situations that can be adopted by the reader. Use good descriptions and metaphors to drive in your point, just don’t over do it. Driving your examples with graphic metaphors would make it easy for them to imagine what you are talking about. Making the experience pleasurable and enjoyable for them.

6. Utilize figures when necessary.

Using specific facts and figures can heighten your article because it makes it authoritative. But do not make it too formal, it should be light and easy in them. Like a friendly teacher having a little chat with an eager student.

Low Cost Website Traffic for Everyone

1. Write an article.

You write an article, mention your site, submit it to e-zines and reap traffic from curious visitors. It's as simple as that. Don't just stop at one website - post your article anywhere possible! There are tons of article directories that allow you to submit your article for free.

2. Exchange links.

Never underestimate the power of link exchange. This is a low cost website traffic tactic that people tend to overlook. How to find out where to do the link exchange? Easy: type your website's keywords in most major search engines, visit each and every of the top results and ask for the link exchange.

3. Get involved in forums.

Look for forums highly related to your website and make your presence known. Make online friends and let them know about your website. Participate in the online discussion, give your honest opinion. Good thing about this is it doesn't cost you anything at all!

6. Direct to directories.

Visit a site similar to yours and announce that you have a survey they can answer. The site and yours reap results so no one's on the losing end here!

How To Use Social Bookmarking to Your Advantage

Social bookmarking is a method to save your bookmarks of web pages on the internet, as opposed to storing them on a particular computer as Favorites. Doing so enables you to access your favorite websites anywhere, from any computer and even from your mobile phone! These bookmarks are usually public accessible though they can be saved privately or shared within certain networks. Internet users can share bookmarks with one another who has the same common interest. This allows you to benefit from the insights and research of other users.

As people bookmark resources that they find useful, you can take advantage of the "ranked" resources without having to do much of search using search engine which might end up with thousands or millions of results. I believe you wouldn't want to analyze each one of the million results yielded that picked by a computer if given shared bookmarks by other users who have found it to be relevant, useful, and beneficial.

With millions of blogs and websites competing for the attention of internet users, social bookmarking can be of great help in getting your website or blog noticed. Social bookmarking has proved to be one of the techniques used by "gurus" to promote website and drive traffic.

Register for a free account with any of the top social bookmarking sites like Digg, or Furl. When you have done so, check out the Tools section to add an icon that let you integrate the bookmarking feature into your site. It allows your visitors / readers to bookmark your blog or website easily.

For example, if a visitor likes your website and is a member of the social bookmarking service ‘Digg’, then he/she can click on the Digg icon on your webpage and this will lead them to the Digg website where they will have to log in in order to bookmark your website. After that, your blog post, article or website will appear as a bookmarked URL. It also gives visitor the ability to post comment on your post and this can prove to be very beneficial to your website in terms of traffic.

The more people click on the social bookmarking link for your website, the more links you will have pointing back to your website. When people log on to Digg to look for posts relevant to them and find your site bookmarked, they will unquestionably visit your website to find out more. This shall increase the traffic on your website considerably. Also, as more and more people visit your website they may also social bookmark it, either on the same social bookmarking network or on other sites, both of which will lead to even more bookmarks leading back to you.

However, you shouldn’t think that your job is done by just registering yourself with a social bookmarking service. It is never enough to only paste an icon under your blog posts and expect everyone to remember to click. You must also become an active member of these social bookmarking sites.

'Active’ here means you must actively visit the social bookmarking sites and find topics that relevant to you or your online business. Bookmark them and /or add comments of your own whenever you find it's appropriate. Believe me, by doing so, you are helping to increase the traffic to your website. When you bookmark some one’s website, it is likely that they will also bookmark your site, and there should soon be a network of links pointing back to your site.

What to do when you are not in the mood to blog?

Photo Blogging May be the Pinnacle of Modern Technology

Many people feel that photo blogging is the most exciting kind of blogging that exists. Building and maintaining a photo blog is no more difficult than creating and updating a text-based blog, and many people feel that the internet's high speed, full-color technology reaches the pinnacle of its appeal with the transmission of images. Posting photographs in a blog format on a daily, weekly, or occasional basis is a great way to express yourself while reaching viewers in an emotionally charged and aesthetically engaging way, and surfing photo blogs can help you to get a whole new perspective on the world in which we live.

Many people who run image blogs are photographers by trade, but photo blogging is also very popular among hobbyists and amateur shutterbugs. To be certain, a lot of the most popular photo blogs have gained attention because the pictures on them are of the highest artistic caliber, and a lot of the people who run these striking blogs are graduates of prestigious art schools and have impressive professional portfolios. However, some of the most well known and most often visited photo blogs are as notable for their concepts as for the pictures themselves. Certain photo blogs, like the popular "Cute Overload" which features picture after picture of adorable animals, are more about the thematic content of the pictures than they are about the style in which the snapshots are taken.

The fact that photo blogs range from forums to display the work of highly skilled artisans to playful collections of curiosities shows that photo blogging is a truly diverse form. The fact that photo blogs are so easy to build and to update makes this kind of visual communication very democratic, and enables people at all skill levels to become a part of the global conversation about the nature and value of photography today.

Whether you are an artist or hobbyist who wants to create a photo blog, or whether you are just somebody who enjoys learning about new places and things, spending some time looking at the most popular photography blogs on the internet can be a very rewarding endeavor. You can travel to another place or another time by seeing pictures of faraway locations and long-gone eras. You can see your own neighborhood with fresh eyes by discover how local artists have photographed the town or city in which you live. Photo blogging allows people to communicate all of these things and more, which makes it a very exciting part of the modern blogosphere. If the best thing about web technology is that it allows people to reach each other in a very personal way from across great distances, then in many ways photo blogs are the most successful kind of web sites.

How to Explain the Google Adsense Program to Others

We’re not talking about strangers here. For the strangers that visit your site, your content will have to do all the talking for you. But for the people in your daily life, the ones you want to click on your referral button, the ones you want to read and comment on your blog; these are the ones you want to be able to enlighten about the Google Adsense program.

First, excitement breeds excitement. Get excited about your new venture and others will too. Learn everything you can about the Google Adsense program, not only will this increase your earnings, but you’ll be better equipped to explain the mechanics of the program to others.

Show them the money. There’s nothing like a little proof to make a believer out of someone. You don’t have to wait until you’re making thousands per month, although that’s a healthy goal. But even a small deposit in your piggy bank is enough to intrigue most people. Can’t you just count those referrals now?

Ways to Identify and Tackle Click Fraud

Identifying and tracking examples of click fraud is the first step to eradicating the problem. Click fraud is an enormous drain on the resources of advertisers operating on a national and international scale, estimated to occupy around 30% of all pay per click advertising spend. With so much at stake, it's no wonder the search engines are investing so much time and effort into devising solutions.

One way in which Search Engines and other pay per click programme providers have attempted to curb the growing click fraud problem is through introducing IP address repetition algorithms. These formulas are designed to pick up on suspicious click patterns emanating from a singular IP address, which can help to uncover the existence of click farms and competitor-led sabotage, as well as identifying potential fraudsters at source.

However, there is an array of problems with this method of attempting to identify the fraudsters. Firstly, fraudsters logging on through a dialup modem, DSL line or cable modem can almost completely bypass this check, as with every new online session, a new IP address is generated. Furthermore, there is an extensive range of software available to alter IP addresses, which again can be used for 'cheating' the algorithm. Cookie and session tracking are other methods by which search engines can attempt to uncover potential fraudulent activity, but again there are ways around these for the fraudsters.

More comprehensive software is being developed which profiles and reports on the browsing habits of each click-through to enable companies to track and monitor suspicious behavior, although this could be seen by many as intrusive and ineffective as anything on a small scale is still likely to go unnoticed, based on the vast coverage of ads across the internet.

There are a number of self-help remedies that can be implemented to keep an organization out of trouble. The first of these remedies is the reliance on search engine optimization and organic listings. If a site is well and fully optimized, it could eventually realize a ranking that another site is willing to pay $2.50 a click for. Similarly, with organically high rankings there are no clickthrough rates, therefore the costs associated with PPC are not applicable. Although the process is significantly more laborious and takes significantly longer to see results, the SEO process is much cheaper in the long run, and with an estimated 25-30% of all clicks being performed fraudulently, an organically high listing can save money which would otherwise be drained by click fraud for more beneficial reinvestment.

Year after year, as the pay per click advertising market continues to grow and expand, surely click fraud will follow suit. Unless an effective means of preventing click fraud is developed and successfully implemented, buyers will steadily lose confidence in the advertising medium and turn to more effective, less wasteful marketing methods, which would seriously hit the search engines and could potentially threaten the online economy as a whole.

Private Resell Rights: What They Are and What It Means

Each day, a large number of individuals use the internet. Many of those individuals are looking for ways to make money online. The only problem with using the internet to research money making opportunities is that there are a large number of online scams. These scams many not only dash your hopes of making money online, but they may also leave you broke. That is why it is important that you fully understand each online money making opportunity before investing or signing a contract.

As previously mentioned, a large number of individuals use the internet to search for money making ideas and opportunities. In fact, there are so many individuals doing this that there is a good chance that you are one of them. In your search, you may have come across an opportunity claiming that you can make money by reselling private label products. The good news about these opportunities is that, in most cases, they are legitimate. The bad news is that many of these offers rarely go into details. This means that you may not even know what you are getting or what you are supposed to do to make money from it.

When it comes to making money online, there are many individuals who move on to the next opportunity when they do not fully understand how one works. If you do this with private label reselling, you may be missing out on the opportunity of a lifetime. Instead of moving on to the next money making opportunity, you should learn as much as you can about private label resell rights. After you have familiarized yourself with this amazing opportunity, you may very well find that it is a great way to make money.

Private label resell products cover a wide variety of different things. Online, you will find that most of these products include software programs, e-books, articles, and source codes. These products are popular because they are high in demand. For instance, many webmasters use articles to increase the content on their website. Software programs are increasing in popularity as more businesses make the decision to be unified, computer wise. E-books are rapidly increasing in popularity, especially as more individuals are finding them cheaper than printed books. Source codes, similar to html codes, are essential to the development of online websites.

While e-books, software programs, and content articles are needed, as detailed above, there are many individuals who do not have the time or the necessary skills to develop their own programs or content. Instead, they often get assistance from the professional. The only problem with professional assistance is that it is often too expensive. A professional writer or software developer can charge very high for their services. Thus, individuals and businesses, in need of software or content, will always look for cheaper alternatives. One of those alternatives may involve purchasing a product from you.

Private label software programs, content articles, and e-books are often developed by experienced professionals. The only problem is that many of these individuals do not have the time or the experience needed to market their products to the public. Without proper marketing, there is a good chance their product will never sell. So, instead of marketing their products, private label product creators will sell the rights to their product. However, the money making opportunity is when you are granted the resell rights. Resell rights mean that you can resell the products that you just purchased, often for any price that you want.

What does this mean to you? It simply means that, for a reasonable price, you should not only be able to purchase a software program, an e-book, or content articles, but you are also purchasing the rights to resell these products. So, in a way, you will be making money without having to do any of the developing work. Sound impossible doesn’t it? Honestly, it is not. As long as you are able to find a reliable and trustworthy software developer or writer to business with, you will be participating in a legitimate business opportunity.

If this opportunity sounds like something you would be interested in, you are advised to get searching. Online, you will find a number of these private label resell opportunities. With a little bit of time and research you could find the perfect product and then you could be on your way to making money, from the comfort of your own home.

How You Can Make Money without Endless Hours of Work

In the United States, a large percentage of the population is employed. If you are one of those individuals, you likely already know how difficult it can be to make money. However, many workers aren’t just making money for the fun of it; many have to financially support themselves or a family. Unfortunately, most jobs require hard work and long hours. You may find that your current job is taking important things away from your life, mostly your time. Instead of learning to manage this unfortunate occurrence, you shall do something about it. You can easily find another way to make money.

When it comes to making money, there are many individuals who flock to the internet. Online you will literally find an unlimited number of business opportunities. Many of these opportunities promise you unlimited income with little or no work. While many of these business opportunities can be considered scams, there are some that are legitimate. One of those legitimate opportunities involves acquiring the private label resell rights to a particular product. After you have acquired the resell rights, it will then be your reasonability to sell the product.
One of the many reasons why obtaining the resell rights and then selling a private label product is so nice is because you do not have to do most of the work. For instance, if you purchase the resell rights to an e-book or a software program, you will not have to create the e-book or software program. This is ideal because the development of these products not only takes time, but special talent or skill. Private label resell rights allow you to skip the hard work and concentrate on selling the product.

One of the most common questions asked, when it comes to private label resell rights, is why the original author or developer can’t sell their own work. The reality is that they can; however, most choose not to. For many professional writers or software designers, they make most of their money when they are creating a new product. This means that many like to focus solely on doing that. In turn, they will rely on someone else to get their products to potential customers.

Selling a product, which you have acquired the resell rights to, often sounds like a commission based program. These types of programs are available, but that is not how private label resell rights work. In private label resell rights, you will outright pay, the author, developer, or anyone else who is selling their product, for the rights to resell it. This means that any money you acquire from the sale, of an e-book or software program, you can keep 100% of it.

To make money off of this opportunity, you will have to sell the product that you have. This is where the work will come in, but it is not what you may expect. Since you will be working as your own boss and you will be in control of the money that you want to make. Therefore, you can choose your own hours. Many resell right owners spend most of their time advertising or marketing their product to the general public. This marketing may take time, but you can also look for quick methods of selling. These methods may include, but are not limited to, standard websites with quick checkouts or online auction sites.

As you can easily see, there are a number of benefits to acquiring the resell rights to a private label product, such as an e-book, mass collection of articles, or a software program. Not only can you make money, but you can also decide how much or how little time you want to work. What could be better than that?

Want to Make An Online Video? Fun Video Ideas

Every year, it seems to have something new hits the internet. Lately, it seems that one of the hottest things on the internet is online video websites. Online video websites are websites that allow internet users to make their own videos, upload them, and share them with others. With millions of internet users browsing through online video websites, there is a good chance that you could make a video and have it seen by thousands of internet users, if not more. This is unquestionably a bright idea of doing viral marketing for your website or online business.

When it comes to making an online video, for an online video website, there are many individuals who are unsure what their video can or should be about. What is nice about making your own homemade video is that you can make a video on just about anything you want. Of course it is important to keep in mind the terms of use of the online video website that you are planning on using, such as YouTube. With most online video websites, you are prohibited from threatening violence on a particular person or creating a video with pornographic material. Before making your video, it is advised that you find an online video website and familiarize yourself with what is and is not acceptable.

Once you have determined what is acceptable video content and what is not, you should be able to start developing ideas. While there is a good chance that you already know what you want your online video to be about, but there is also a chance that you have no idea. If you are making an online video for the first time, you may want to pick a video theme that is fun and easy to do. If you enjoy the experience, you can then move on to creating longer online videos or ones that require additional work. When looking for easy to make videos, you may want to consider doing a comedy skit or a how-to video.

When it comes to making a how-to video, you will be showing internet users how to do something. That thing should be something that you love to do. As previously mentioned, you may want your first video to be on a topic that is easy to create a video on. For that reason, you are advised to do a how-to video on something that you can explain in as little as a few minutes. Your video could outline how to start making a particular food, how to prepare for a party, or even outline how to draw a particular picture. A step by step how-to video is a great way to not only get experience with making online videos, but it will also give internet users something to watch that is actually useful.

As previously mentioned, comedy skits are also a great theme to try for your first online video. With comedy skits, you can do something as simple as traditional jokes or you could even make your own. When doing a comedy skit, it is important to keep your jokes in mind. If you are planning on telling obscene jokes or ones that may be considered offensive, you may want to post a warning with your video. This warning, often included in the video title, should be used to warn internet users to view your video with caution. When it comes to making a comedy skit, even just a short one, you should not only be able to get experience making online videos, but you will also be giving most internet users a good laugh.

How-to videos and comedy skits are just a few of the many online videos that you can create. Once you have learned the ins and outs of video making, you may want to move on to other topics. In the event that you are a musician, you and your band could record your own music video and share it with the rest of the world. In addition to working on a rehearsed video, you could also just randomly record. By carrying your camcorder around with you, you never know what shots you could get. Many of the most popular videos found online aren’t really of anything in particular. In most cases, it seemed if someone just happened to be in the right time, at the right place, with a camcorder.

Online Video Websites, Why You Should Leave Video Comments

Are you an individual who loves getting your entertainment online? If so, there is a good chance that you know what online video sites are. In fact, there is also a good chance that you have visited, at least, one before. If you have, what did you think of the videos that you saw? If you liked them, did you rate them or leave any comments? If not, you should have.

As previously mentioned, online video websites are a source of entertainment for many internet users. This is because many online video websites allow you to view their videos free of charge. Of course, there are some video sites that will charge you to become a member or charge you a fee for watching certain videos, but most are free to use. This is why online video websites offer the best possible source of online entertainment, because they are free to use or at least reasonably priced.

When it comes to finding a video online, you will find that it all depends on the online video website that you are visiting. Videos that you should be able to find online may include, but should not be limited to music videos, homemade videos, celebrity interviews, sports recaps, and television shows. Most online video sites have a large collection of homemade videos. These videos are made by individuals, just like you. Many individuals go through a lot of trouble to make their own video and upload it to share with you. That is why it is advised that you rate all of the videos that you see and leave comments, if they are allowed.

Perhaps, the most important reason why you should leave comments on a video website is to make your opinions known. By tactfully placing a backlink to your website in the comments, you may generate considerable traffics to your website . Many internet users leave positive comments when they have viewed a video that they thought was well put together. In addition to positive comments, there are also internet users who leave negative comments, as well. If you were offended or left unsatisfied by watching a video, you can leave a negative comment. When leaving a negative comment, it is advised to be as tasteful as it can be. You will not just want to say that the video stunk, but you may also want to offer helpful suggestions.

Video makers love getting comments, especially those that focus on the positive points of their video, but that is not the only reason why you should leave a comment. There are a number of different online video websites that rank their member’s videos in a number of different ways. Many online video websites rank videos by their user ratings, but others rank their videos by the number of comments that their videos have. YouTube is one of those websites. So, not only could you be making your opinions known, but you could also help to increase the ranking of the video that you just watched and enjoyed.

As you can easily see, there are a number of different reasons why you should leave a comment on a video that you watched online. Although a fairly large number of online video websites allow you to post video comments, not all will. In the event that comments are not allowed, you will, at least, want to rate the video. Almost all video websites will allow you to do this.

eBay: What To Do When After Winning A Bid And Then Changing Your Mind?

As the old adage goes, nobody's perfect. There are things in this life that people do at an instance only to change his or her mind after a few minutes or so.

On eBay, there are instances wherein online shoppers or bidders may find retracting a bid inevitable due to some unforeseen circumstances. Others find it tricky and sellers may find it maddening. But whatever the point is, buyers may still retract their bids even if they won the item.

As much as the seller would be professional about the matter, buyers should also, by all means, do the most civilized thing - inform the seller about the reason why he or she would not push through with the sale.

However, buyers may also do this legally, that is in accordance to the eBay policies. Buyers may declare a "clear error" especially when there were things done inadvertently. For example, the bidder mistakenly typed $100 instead of $10.

When things like these happened, the buyer has to make appropriate actions at once. All they have to do is to tick the "Services" link situated on top of the navigation bar. On services, the buyer should tap the "Retract Your Bid" link found on the "Bidding and Buying Services" section. The item number should be placed on the space provided in the Bid Retractions page.

Automated explanations are available and can be used by the bidder. Then, after the buyer had clicked on the "Retract Bid" tab, the bid amount will be deleted from the auction.

The eBay management, in reality, is reasonable on things like these. In fact, eBay may accept whatever reasons buyers have whenever they want to pull back a certain bid. But then, it may pose harm on the bidder's reputation in the future.

This can be tolerable especially if the reasons are valid, but nevertheless, it's still a big no-no when doing business on eBay. In the first place, it was clearly stated on the buyer's guide that the bid serves as a contract that binds the buyer to a commitment to make the necessary purchase of the item he or she had won.

What's more, bidders may even lose the credibility and the chance to bid at some point especially if their bidding history were made known to most sellers.

Indeed, retracting bids on eBay is not such a good practice to make, and can be a hard habit to break.

All of these things boil down on one common point. That is, the buyer should never bid on an item if he or she is not yet even sure of buying it.

Do You Need To Sell Before You Profit from eBay?

Since its inception, eBay seemed to be godsend entity to many especially those who want to find a lucrative way of earning a living. A lot of people contend that it is only with eBay that they were able to supplement their finances and extra necessities.

But the question of the majority still remains. Do people really need to sell something first before they can profit from eBay?

The answer is, undeniably, yes! Here some facts about eBay to support the answer:

The nature of eBay is focused on one thing: ONLINE MARKETING.

The concept behind eBay is the fact that it is an auction website. Therefore, to gain profit in a site like eBay is to sell something. It involves monetary transactions and deals, a niche market, and some strategies that can be commonly found in a typical market site.

Hence, a person that has no intentions of selling something on eBay does not actually have any business on eBay.

However, others may contend that buying a quality at the same time affordable product can also be considered as a profit. But nevertheless, taking a closer look at what profit really means, all of these boils down to the fact that whoever earns money benefits more.

Everything is a commodity.

Nowadays, everything seems to be a commodity, from mobile phones to even ideas. With an increasing rate on financial crisis, everybody seems to be finding ways how to earn a living. This goes to show why there are people who sell even the weirdest thing on eBay.

Some may assert that these things may not be true at all. But the question is, what if it is, indeed, true? What if there is really somebody out there who is in dire need of money and that there is nothing that he or she can trade but his or her own virginity?

These things may seem like too nuisance and may seem cheaper than what they had bargain for, but when necessities butts in, it's down to a now or never battle in life.

Indeed, the realities of life are clearly manifested on the kind of transactions that goes on in eBay. In fact, what eBay has on its context is the same as what goes on in real life. Like eBay, life is like an auction, there are those who win and there are those who lose.

With all these facts, the concept of whether a person has to sell something first just to profit from eBay breaks down to two realities in life: money, thus, makes the world go round, and that profit is claimed where there is money.

Can Craigslist Improve Your Business?

The answer to this question is yes and no and maybe. It all depends on the way in which the business owners utilize Craigslist. Savvy Internet marketers who are able to identify the target audience and create sales copy which entices the reader may find advertising on Craigslist to be incredibly profitable. Conversely Internet markets that do not do their research and take a spamming approach to advertising on Craigslist are not likely to see significant financial gains.

There is certainly an opportunity to gain financial benefit through advertising on Craigslist. Advertising for all products and services is free on Craigslist making it cost effectively. Additionally, Craigslist already receives extensive traffic with approximately ten million visitors generating four billion page views each month so there is no need to drive traffic to the website. While Craigslist offers so many advertising benefits, these benefits may be wasted if the advertiser does not do his research or evaluate the competition.

Research before Posting on Craigslist

Advertising on Craigslist is similar to advertising in other forms of media. Despite the existing heavy traffic flows to the website, successful marketing campaigns require extensive research. This research should provide the Internet marketer and his staff with insight into where to post the advertisements to most effectively reach the target audience, how to word the copy of the advertisement to make it most appealing to the target audience and which relevant keywords should be included in the advertising copy to make it likely for members of the target audience to find the advertisement easily when searching for products and services offered by the company.

Research of this capacity can be conducted either online or offline. One of the most effective forms of this type of research is to have members of the target audience fill out market surveys. The answers provided by the participants should give the marketer a good idea of what the target audience is seeking. Incorporating this information into the marketing campaign can make it noticeably more successful.

Evaluate the Competition on Craigslist

The search feature on Craigslist gives an Internet marketer an excellent way to evaluate the competition. Studying the competition is important because it can help you to learn how you can be more successful. This increased success can be a result of determining successful aspects of the competitor’s marketing strategy and implementing these strategies as well as determining faulty aspects of the competitor’s marketing strategy and avoiding these strategies.

To get a good idea of the competitors who are advertising on Craigslist, use the search feature to search for keywords relevant to your own products and services. You will likely receive search results including advertisements from competitors. Next, carefully analyze these advertisements to determine how you can not only create better products and services at more affordable prices but also write more engaging advertising copy. Many wise Internet marketers have the reasoning skills necessary to properly analyze the advertisements for competitors but they often falter when taxed with the dilemma of creating better advertisements. This is when the services of a professional sales copywriter with search engine optimization (SEO) skills becomes a vital part of the equation. This writer can use his SEO training as well as his knowledge on the subject of writing advertising copy to effectively entice members of the target audience to either purchase products or services or at least investigate these products or services further.

Preview of Fabian Lim's Internet Marketing Bootcamp

I went to Fabian Lim's preview on Internet Marketing Bootcamp in 2008 last night. It is indeed his 14th intake since year 2007.

It was held in Subang Holiday Villa Hotel, from 7pm to 10pm, what a long 3 hours preview!

I notice that his presentation was a bit different from the past, he's now modeling the presentation style of the well-known motivational speaker cum internet marketer, Stephen Pierce. In Stephen Pierce's presentations, you will notice that Stephen will use up almost 70% of his time giving motivational teaching. And remaining 30% on the subject of Internet Marketing . Hey, come on, please be realistic. Audience were attracted to the presentation because they were self-motivated. They know what they want and they know why they were there. They are very well motivated to take action to attend the presentation or preview. I guess there is no need to emphasize any further on the motivational part.

Same case here with Fabian Lim's presentation last night. He used up more than an hour out of the 3-hour preview to motivate, encourage and inspire the audience. I guess everyone in the room was like me, get attracted by the ads and get self-motivated to spend the precious 3 hours to attend the preview. Otherwise they won't be in the room. Therefore, I doubt the need of the speaker / presenter to remind the audience why they were there, do they want to make money online, do they want financial freedom, and etc.

When come to the interest part of the preview, his 5 steps of making lucrative money online, it was really very brief as compared to the lengthy motivational teaching. And then comes the selling part, the 3-day Internet Marketing Bootcamp, which took him an hour to explain and elaborate. This 3-days 'live' Internet Marketing Bootcamp is a 'hands-on', fun-filled and practical internet marketing coaching program designed to take one from a complete internet 'newbie' to an internet entrepreneur armed with the correct knowledge and skills to succeed online. This first intake for the year 2008 has come with new and updated syllabus that revises the past 2-day bootcamp to 3-day bootcamp to encompass more values.

I find out that his bootcamp is more or less the same like Fione Tan's 2-day workshop but it's way way cheaper than Fione Tan's. This 3-day Internet Marketing Bootcamp costs only RM2995 for the first 10 fast action takers, and RM3295 for the late comers. It is less than half the price Fione Tan is charging for her 2-day workshop that comes with 3-month coaching which cost more than RM8000. Besides the difference in price, Fabian Lim's Bootcamp is far more worthy than Fione Tan's workshop from the way I see it, in Fabian Lim's Bootcamp, you get a full 24-month of support and more than 500 products ready to sell plus other bonuses which include 2 free tickets of T. Harv Eker's live seminar in Malaysia that's already worth more than RM2000! Fabian even offered a money-back guarantee in verbal that if within 90 days after the bootcamp you don't make at least USD500, he will refund your investment in full. This is really very attractive and worthy program to sign up as compared to Fione Tan's 3-month coaching that doesn't guarantee a single cent in ROI.

I was very tempted to sign up the Bootcamp last night, but ended up didn't. As I am still paying the credit card debt that incurred for Fione Tan's program that costs me more than RM8000, moreover the syllabus of the bootcamp looks quite similar to Fione's workshop. I guess I will give myself a second thought no doubt it's a very attractive package.

7 Ways To Make Money Using Nothing More Than Your List

An opt-in list can be quite crucial to any site or internet based company. Even for a small venture such as a niche profit site an opt-in list can make a world of difference and also add some extra income for your pocket. Rarely would you see an e-commerce site, big or small, that is without an opt-in list.

An opt-in list allows for a company to market their wares and site via an e-mail. With an opt-in list, a site and a subscriber consents to sending and receiving a newsletter from your company. Through this, you can keep your subscribers abreast of what is currently available in your site as well as whatever is coming out.

And because there is mutual consent between the two parties, any mail sent to the list is not considered as spam mail. There is a great number of successfully read promotional materials such as catalogs, newsletters and such that are sent because the subscribers themselves have signed up for them, meaning, they do want to be sent those items.

Building a list is crucial, only a small percentage actually subscribes for an opt-in list. Many people find promotional mails annoying but if you provide a good newsletter or promotional material, you will see your list build up and grow. You can also achieve this by having good content on your site. If people like what they see and read on your site, then they surely would want more. Newsletters would be a way to attract them back to your site. A little teaser or appetizer if you will.

But other than marketing your wares and your services, an opt-in list can also be used to earn extra profit. Not all lists can be used though. It would be good to first build a successful list with a huge number of subscribers. The more subscribers you have, the more money you can get. Here are seven ways to make money using nothing more than your list.

1) Place advertisements. There are many corporations who will be willing to pay to put their banners and ads on a list with many subscribers. Selling or renting out lists is not a good idea so rather than doing that, many companies would just rather place ads with lists that have a huge subscriber base. Your newsletter could be placed with many ads and each one spells money.

2) Have affiliations with other companies that have at least a semblance or relation to what your site is about. Here other companies will provide links and brief descriptions of what they offer, products and services. With every click made on the link that directs or leads a subscriber from your list to their site, the company will pay you. This is called P4P or pay for performance.

3) Make deals with other companies by asking for a small percentage of sales done through your list. With every sale done by customers that directed from your list and have gone there because of your newsletter, the other company will pay you a small percentage of the sales. The more people who buys from them, the more earnings you get.

4) You may also get products from other sites on a consignment basis and sell them to your list via your newsletter. Place descriptions, articles and photos of the product in your newsletter. There will be those who will buy from you and when that happens, you can order the product from the other site and sell it to your buyer.

5) Sell e-books or a compilation of your articles on your list. Manuals and how-to articles are in great demand. Many people will be willing to shell out money to gain knowledge about a certain topic and subject. With your existing list trusting your expertise in that area, an e-book could be offered and sold or used as an incentive.

6) Create a network out of your list. Get people to invite more people to view your site and subscribe to your list. The larger your list is, the more people will be able to click on your links and affiliate links as well as make your advertisement rates higher.

7) Subscribers are willing to pay for information if they know that it can be trusted and relied upon. Use your list to get more and more people to subscribe to you as well as browse your site. Lastly, you can use your list to earn money by making them your partners. Your list will be the bloodline of your growth and increase.

Google Adsense Profits Mixed In With Affiliate Marketing

Are you a webmaster who needs funds to keep your website running? Or is your website the only way for you to earn income? Whichever you are, for as long as you are a webmaster or a web publisher and you need cash, affiliate marketing may work well for you. With affiliate marketing, you may get a lot of cash pouring into your bank account easily. And if your website is rich in great contents and you want to earn more profit, why not get into the Google Adsense program as well?

Why Affiliate Marketing?

Well, simply because affiliate marketing is the easiest and probably the best way to earn profits online, unless otherwise you are a businessman and would rather sell your own products online than advertise other businessman’s products on your site. But even online retailers can benefit from affiliate marketing programs, because affiliate marketing actually works for merchants as well as it works for the affiliates.

Affiliate marketing, simply said, is a relationship or agreement made between two websites, with one site being the merchant’s website and the other being the affiliate’s site. In the relationship, the affiliate agrees to let the merchant advertise his products on the affiliate’s site. The merchant, on the other hand, would agree to pay the affiliate in whatever method they have agreed into. This would generally mean easy income for the affiliate, as he would do nothing but place the retailer’s ad on his site. This would also be very beneficial for the merchant, as getting affiliates to advertise their products would be a lot more affordable than hiring an advertising firm to promote their products.

There are a variety of methods on how the merchant would compensate the affiliate for his services, and for the webmaster, these methods simply translates to the method by which he would earn easy cash. Among the more common methods of compensation are the pay-per-click method, the pay-per-lead method, and the pay-per-sale method. The pay-per-click method is the method most preferred by affiliates, for their site’s visitor would only have to visit the advertiser’s site for them to gain money. The other two methods, on the other hand, are better preferred by merchants, as they would only have to compensate you if your visitor becomes one of their registrants or if the visitor would actually buy their products.

Getting much profit on affiliate marketing programs, however, does not depend so much on the compensation method, it does on the traffic generated by your site. A website that can attract more visitors would generally have the greater chance of profiting in affiliate marketing programs.

What about Google Adsense?

Google Adsense is actually some sort of an affiliate marketing program. In Google Adsense, Google act as the intermediary between the affiliates and the merchants. The merchant, or the advertiser, would simply sign up with Google and provide the latter with text ads pertaining to their products. These ads, which is actually a link to the advertiser’s website, would then appear on Google searches as well as on the websites owned by the affiliates, or by those webmasters who have signed up with the Google Adsense program.

While one can find a lot of similarities between Google Adsense and other affiliate marketing programs, you can also see a lot of differences. In Google Adsense, all the webmaster has to do is place a code on his website and Google takes care of the rest. The ads that Google would place on your site would generally be relevant to the content of your site. This would be advantageous both for you and for the advertiser, as the visitors of your site would more or less be actually interested with the products being advertised.

The Google Adsense program compensates the affiliate in a pay-per-click basis. The advertisers would pay Google a certain amount each time their ad on your site is clicked and Google would then forward this amount to you through checks, although only after Google have deducted their share of the amount. Google Adsense checks are usually delivered monthly. Also, the Google Adsense program provides webmasters with a tracking tool that allows you to monitor the earnings you actually get from a certain ad.

So, where do all of these lead us to?

Where else but to profits, profits and even more profits! Affiliate marketing programs and the Google Adsense program simply work, whether you are the merchant or the affiliate. For the merchant’s side, a lot of money can be saved if advertising effort is concentrated on affiliate marketing rather than on dealing with advertising firms. For the webmaster, you can easily gain a lot of profits just by doing what you do best, and that is by creating websites. And if you combine all your profits from both the Google Adsense program and other affiliate marketing programs, it would surely convert to a large amount of cash.
